Junior Skills Challenge

Junior Skills Challenge

Golf Canada's Junior Skills Challenge is a resource for golf courses to help introduce juniors to competitive golf in a fun, inclusive, and encouraging way. Originally launched in 2009 as a junior golf development program, it was designed to help players test their abilities in three fundamental golf skills: driving, chipping, and putting, while also serving as an entry point to competition within Golf Canada's Long-Term Player Development Model.

The free resources provide facilities with the tools to host their own Junior Skills Challenge events, which can range from small gatherings to large-scale competitions. It serves as a great wrap-up activity for junior camps or programs or can be run as a standalone event open to all juniors in the area.
