Program Information

Golf Canada's Junior Skills Challenge is a junior golf development program where players test their abilities in three fundamental golf skills: driving, chipping, and putting. Launched in 2009, the program was designed as an introduction to competition, filling that stage in Golf Canada's Long-Term Player Development Model.

The program is intended to introduce juniors to competitive golf in a fun, inclusive, and encouraging manner. Registration and access to program material is offered at no cost to facilities, and the event can vary in size from a few juniors to a large event with many participants. It is a great wrap up event to junior camps or programs, or it can be held as a stand-alone event that any junior in the area can attend!
